The Ram Company back at school..... Our school tour has come to end in Derby for now, but what great fun and a thorough success. One head teacher reported:
".....thank you for sending this marvellous group of talented musicians to our school today. Their input was educational, entertaining, outstandingly musical and thoroughly enjoyed by all pupils and staff.
My only question is....when can they come again?
What a wonderful start to our day."
We look forward to more visits next term.

You can see Waltzers and Wonders at the Derby Guildhall on Friday 22nd May 2009 and at the Chippenham Folk Festival on Sunday 24th May 2009.

6 members of the Ram Company have taken songs from the show "Waltzers and Wonders: the Wakes is in Town" into primary schools in Derby. We showed the children the instruments we use, teaching them the choruses to a couple of the songs, and letting them hear full-tilt a cappella singing. We left behind a worksheet and teachers' notes, plus a 3-track CD, so that they have something to remember us by.
